spring creekWelcome to Midwest Flyworks.  I remember the first contact I ever had with others and fly fishing.  A lot was learned, good friendships were made, and a lot of fun was had.  My goal is to make flyworks the exact same way.  It’s not a day at work.  It’s not paying taxes.  It’s not a trip to the dentist or an argument about what you should have for dinner.  It’s about fishing – and fishing should be fun.
 

The Driftless

The upper Midwest – Northeastern Iowa, Southeastern Minnesota and Southwestern Wisconsin – home to the “driftless area”, an area that encompasses perhaps better than 10,000 square miles that the last ice ace more or less missed.

Who Lives Here?

I primarily fish for trout.  At that, I tend to seek out places that have brook trout whenever possible, and if not, I happily settle for the just as pretty, more abundant brown trout.

A true native to the land of spring creeks, spotted cows, and corn stalks.  I grew up In La Crosse, WI, just a few miles North of what I consider to be the absolute Valhalla of spring creek fly fishing between Coon Valley and Viroqua, Wisconsin.
