I have been fishing the Driftless Area for as long as I can remember, and would be happy to share my love of fishing and the local resource with you. I have many years of experience guiding Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and the big rivers of Montana. On trips, I have done minor surgery, made great lunches, I once sank the boat three times, and yeah...I've caught fish too. But seriously, when in a place you're not familiar with, hiring a guide is the best way to save a day, learn a bunch and hopefully catch some fish. The Driftless Area:

he upper Midwest – Northeastern Iowa, Southeastern Minnesota and Southwestern Wisconsin – home to the “driftless area”, an area that encompasses perhaps better than 10,000 square miles that the last ice ace more or less missed. Our bluffs and landscape remain intact, looking much like they did ten thousand years ago. There are in all likelihood more miles of limestone spring creeks within 100 miles of La Crosse, Wisconsin than there are within any other city on planet earth. There are thousands of miles of streams, which eventually join to become rivers, both of which are our playgrounds. Plain and simple – it’s one neat area.
